Description

Port Adriano is located on the west coast of the island of Majorca, in the department of Calvià, in El Toro and not far from the town of Magaluf. The port facility was built in 2012 on the design of French architect and designer Philippe Starck. It is a modern and luxurious port and is organized to accommodate craft of various sizes, starting from a length of less than seven meters to reach a maximum of eighty meters.

Port Adriano has 488 berths for boats, of which 87 are reserved for boats of a length exceeding 20 meters (anyway always less than 80 meters), distributed over an area of 25,000 square meters. During the summer, the port keeps some areas that can accommodate for mooring, vessels up to 100 meters. The maximum draft throughout the mooring area is 7 meters.

The port also has a workshop area of 10,000 square meters, which can assist boats in repair and maintenance works. The services include a crane, which can raise boats for a maximum weight of 250 tons. The interior area is equipped to accommodate smaller boats, while the most exterior and newest areas are reserved for yachts and mega-yachts.

To the costumers the Port Adriano can supply electricity and drinking water at any berth, and can take advantage of bathrooms, showers, clothes, Wi-Fi and a fuel station. In the area there is a continuous vigilance service. Finally, there is also a parking area for motorbikes and cars, a gym and a playground for children.

The harbor provides a large number of renowned restaurants (pizzerias, sushi bars, steakhouses, ice-cream parlors, wine bars) from which you may choose. There is also a wide selection of clothing stores and nautical items, as well as a supermarket. In the immediate vicinity of the landing, you can still find other services and business activities (banks, hotels, restaurants).

Inside the Port Adriano area, there are also a number of nautical schools where you can take sailing, surfing, diving and paddle surfing courses. It also has a center dedicated to jet skiing and surfing to fly.

A golf club (Golf Santa Ponça) is about five minutes from the harbor area.

Port Adriano is the location of many events, festivals and happenings, related not only to the world of sailing, but also cinema, food and music.

The nearest beach at Adrian's Port is El Toro, very close to the harbor area. It is a fine and golden sandy beach, alongside a high natural reddish rock wall (staining due to the high concentration of iron oxide in the substrate). The ease access and the proximity to the town center, make it a popular destination for the locals: in fact, the beach is easily accessible on foot, by bus or by car, with a free parking space close by.

The location, naturally protected by southern winds, with sandy bottoms (with algae), the deep within three to five meters and its proximity to the harbor area, make the mirror water in front of El Toro's beach, a place where often yachtsmen are going to anchor.

On the beach, you can find showers, toilets and kiosks where you can rent sun loungers and umbrellas.

Port Adriano is about nine kilometers south of Santa Ponça, a popular tourist attraction point for those in the area, while It is about 20 kilometers from Palma de Mallorca, accessible by sea, but also with the local bus and by car (with a half-hour ride).
