Club Nàutico Ciutadella 

The Club Náutico Ciutadella was founded on 12 April 1923. It was born from the enthusiasm of a group of people to establish and establish a sports and social club with the aim of promoting nautical sports and culture. Today, with 90 years of history behind it, the Yacht Club is still a live club, both in sport and socially, thanks to the precious collaboration of the 650 members currently held by the entity. Your location; a privileged enclave thanks to its strategic position in the center of Ciutadella, it allows visitors and users to have their magnificent facilities, social and sports, just a step away from the city center. The efforts of the first presidents in sport have led to enthusiasm among young people for water sports, especially sailing. During its 90-year history, the club has collected a prestigious list of winners among its sailors, both at the regional, national and international levels. The increasing fondness for the sport of sailing has pushed the organization of several championships of the highest level such as Spain Cup Snipe in 1975, the Championship of Spain in Snipe in 1977, Copa Spain Optimist Trophy prince Philip in 1978 Championship of Snipe World in the junior category in 1980, in the Spanish championship Mediterranean Cruise and in the Spanish championship Optimist in 1981, in the Spanish Cruise Cup in 1986, in the Optimist Spain Cup in 1990, in the Optimist world championship in 1993, Optimist Spain Cup in 1996 and Spanish Cup of Platú 25 in 2012.
