Dangers
Yachtsmen are required to pay attention to an insidious sandbank located near the outer breakwater. In order to enable boats to enter the port safely in any sea and weather condition, a red buoy has been installed about 200 metres from the breakwater. Yachtsmen are recommended to leave it on the straboard side when entering the port, on the left when going out of it. -

Description
Situated opposite Aeolian Islands, just 30 miles away from Vulcano, Lipari, Salina, Filicudi and Alicudi islands, the Porticciolo raises in the municipality of Sant'Agata di Militello.
Just 2 km from the port facility there is a beautiful castle. The airports of Palermo and Catania are only 165 and 205 km away respectively and an efficient shuttle service from and to the airports is offered by the marina itself. The railway station is just 1.5 km away and offers direct links to northern Italy. This means that the marina enjoys a strategic position and is an excellent strarting point for both short- and long-range cruises in the Mediterranean.
Protected by a long outer breakwater, the port facility guarantees a safe access in any sea and weather condition. More specifically, yachtsmen are required to leave the red buoy located about 150 metres east of the dock on the starboard side when entering the port, on the left when going out of it, according to what established by a specific Coast Guard's ordinance.
The seabed ranges from 4 to 7 metres. Equipped with cement floating jetties, the marina offers water and electric charging columns (16A, 32A, 63A)s, free Wi-Fi, skilled multi-language staff, mechanical, electric and electronic assistance, free shuttle service from and to supermarkets, laundry service and private parking.
