Description

Sant Carles Marina, one of the most recent port facilities in Catalunya, is located on the southern border of the Delta de l'Ebre Nature Park, in the Alfacs bay and protected by the Trabucador bar. Sant Carles Marina is a modern port facility located south of the mouth of the Ebro River, facing the town of Sant Carles de la Rapita and at one end of the Ebro Delta Natural Park. The port is adjacent to Sant Carles de la Rapita and is at Alfacs Bay, bordered by Trabucador bar, which is an excellent natural barrier that protects the door from any wind. It offers 1,150 berths for boats from 8 to 33 meters, with a maximum draft of 3.70 meters. The marina has a waiting dock, a 75-tonne gantry stand, a 5-tonne crane and a 10,000-square-meter ground area. Among the facilities of the port there is a restaurant with a nice terrace and a nice pool. When approaching the port from the sea, it is necessary to check the depth gauge and respect the luminous headlights, as occasionally sand banks form. As a reference point, you can take the large deposits of the concrete port, located just over three miles southwest.
