Description

Founded in 1969, the Sant Carles de la Ràpita Yacht Club currently has more than 1,000 members. The company is consolidated as the most important entity of the population, as well as being one of the most important tourist ports of Catalonia and the Mediterranean coast. Currently the club has 632 amarrati. The central office, with its original and functional design, houses various services such as offices, offices, social premises, restaurants and showers. The club organizes various activities. He is the organizer of the Crossing for the port of Alfacs, which marks for the championship of Spain and Catalonia of long distance swimming. It also organizes tests for the Catalan swimming championship, both scholastic and federated. In addition, he collaborates with the city council for the organization of the maritime festival during the main festivities on July 25th. The entity conducts swimming, sailing and rowing courses. The club offers all kinds of boat services, such as the service station (with diesel and unleaded petrol), crane, repair shop, ramp and waiting area. The important fishing fleet produces workshops that can cover all the needs of pleasure boating. In addition, it offers various services such as bar, restaurant, showers, parking ... The port of Ràpita has exceptional natural protection. Its position within the natural port of Alfacs (about 60 square kilometers) makes it surrounded by natural land on three sides. To the west there is a solid ground; to the north, there is the Ebro delta; and, to the east, there is the Trabucador bar and the tip of the Corno. This arm is an immense amount of sand that protects the harbor from any wind.
