Description
Tourist Port of Fano - Marche
Sheltered by an eastern dock and a western one, the port of Fano raises just at the mouth of Albani Channel. It's an old fishing port in the Marche region which has been enlarged with a tourist dry dock equipped with piers for recreational boats.
Boats can easily enter the port from its northern mouth, well-signaled by a light.
The port includes:
- Pipeta Dry Dock: on the West.
- Albani Channel
- Giurgin Dry Dock: on the East
- New Dry Dock
- Marina dei Cesari: the marina situated inside the port of Fano which can receive both sailing and motor boats.
Areas reserved for recreational yachting
Since the structure is essentially a fishing port, sail and motor boats can exclusively moor in Albani Channel and the New Dry Dock.
