Description
Built in 2005 and located on the south-eastern shores of Lake Garda, Moniga Porto offers 280 mooring places for boats with a maximum length of 18 metres. 24 places are reserved for transiting boats.
The maximum draught allowed is 3.20 m (depth, deeper at the entrance of the harbour, reaches in fact 320 cm in the quay).
The harbour provides its customers with drinkable water, electric charging columns, showers, toilets, wi-fi and tv connection, locker rooms, a laundry and a gas station.
The harbour is provided with a yard, repairing workshops for both sailing and motor boats, a crane with a range of 20 tons, a travelift which can lift up to 20 tons and a repairing service for sails and masts. A professional team of experts is available for cleaning services and special hull treatments.
The whole area of the harbour is under video surveillance and, at night, it enjoys a security guard service. Fire-fighting and anti-pollution systems, weather forecast, mooring assistance and a recovery service complete the range of services offered by the structure.
Moniga Porto has also a large winter boat storage area .
If you prefer, you can benefit from a professional boat buying and selling service, too.
In the surroundings of the harbour, you can easily find coffee bars, restaurants, camping areas, hotels, banks and supermarkets.
The harbour also offers a transfer service to the airports of Verona, Bergamo, Milan and an electric bikes rental service.
If you travel by car, open and garage parking lots are available.
Moniga del Garda is a municipality in the province of Brescia. With medieval origins, it still preserves one of the oldest churches around Lake Garda, St. Martin's Church and a 9th-century-castle.
In the surroundings of the city, you can enjoy lots of beaches, such as the so-called Beach of the Harbour, a well-equipped beach near the harbour, St. Michael's Beach and Liner, two free
equipped beaches.
You can get Moniga del Garda by boat, car, bus or train. The nearest railway station is in Desenzano del Garda, about 10 km far.
