Description
Considered as one among the most important reference points for superyachts sailing in the Mediterranean, Porto Mirabello is the only urban marina existing in Italy. It is made up of a 40,000-square-metre artificial peninsula, built in the total respect of the coast and the surrounding natural environment, linked to the city of La Spezia by a footbridge.
Porto Mirabello provides a luxury environment designed to offer customers maximum comfort throughout the marina. The main target of the structure is represented by luxury megayachts.
The main docks, whose length varies from 25 up to 34 metres, can receive boats up to 100 m. Yachtsmen can park in one of the 287 private garages provided.
The sandy-and-muddy sea bottom has a variable depth,from 3.5 up to 9 m, according to the different docks and berths' sizes.
The marina offers 407 berths, 100 of which are exclusively reserved for superyachts from 25 up to 130 m. Other 700 berths are reserved for boats under 14 m and they are located in the external part of the main dock where 13 floating piers were built.
The entrance is on the eastern shore, just next to the 620-metre-long breakwater which, in its turn, ensures a good shelter against all southern winds.
The structure offers a plurality of services: 287 private garages, over 1000 parking spaces, 24/7 watchmen and videosurveillance, drinkable water, electricity, waste collection, toiltes, showers, customer care, wi-fi and even a heliport, located in the area eclusively reserved for megayachts.
Furthermore, the marina is equipped with a yard for any maintenance intervention, a travelift with a maximum range of 160 tons and two filling stations: the first is located at the entrance of the main dock and it offers only diesel and unleaded; the second, at the end of the main pier, offers diesel and high-capacity diesel (SIF) for megayachts. Both stations can dispense 500 liters per minute.
A large shopping centre houses over 30 shops and lots of coffee bars, restaurants and a 25-metre swimming pool. In the next future, 11 luxury suites will enrich the range of services offered by the marina.
The staff of the marina is high-skilled and always available to satsify any need. The concierge is open every day from 09:00 to 19:00
