Description

Located in the namesake municipality along the charming coast in the province of Imperia, Marina di San Lorenzo al Mare is a modern and efficient marina, inaugurated in 2008.

It is part of Cozzi-Parodi Group, the same owner of two other private marinas: Marina degli Aregai, in the municipality of Santo Stefano a Mare, and Portosole, in Sanremo, in addition to real estate, hotel and civil construction activities.

Sheltered by two long breakwaters and including 9 docks, the marina can receive 365 boats from 6 up to 20 m. It offers a 24h/24 mooring assistance service, in addition to drinkable water, electricity, toilets, showers, waste and sewage collection and scuba divers.

The area is well-sheltered against winds coming from the second and third quadrant but please be careful in case of strong libeccio.

The boatyard of the marina is equipped with a slipway while a filling station (petrol and diesel) is located not far from the berths.

Marina di San Lorenzo is not only a marina but also an important tourist attraction which offers 60 marine cabins and Hotel Riviera dei Fiori, a 4-star hotel with 44 comfortable rooms, a private equipped beach, a restaurant-bar, a gym and Jaracanda Spa.

Furthermore, the marina hosts a charter agency, a sailing school and a nautical agency, while a new project is aiming to enlarge the area with the creation of about 20 new facilities.

In the surroundings, you can easily find a drugstore, a camping site, many supermakets, pizzerias and restaurants, in addition to a reserved parking and a cycle path which links the town to Sanremo.

Located near the municipality of Santo Stefano a Mare, Marina di San Lorenzo al Mare enjoys a strategic position to sail along the Ligurian coast or reach Cote d'Azur and Corsica.

The marina is, in fact, 40 nautical miles from Mentone, 80 from Cape Corso and 88 miles from Calvi.

The airport of Genoa is about 105 km far, while that of Nice is about 85 km far.

The marina can be easily reached by car or public transport means.

It is in fact 5 km far from the Imperia-Ovest exit of A10 motorway (if you come from Genoa) and 10 km far from Sanremo-Est exit (if you come from Ventimiglia).

If you prefer, you can also take a train, get off at the railway of Imperia- Porto Maurizio and finally take a bus which will take you to the marina in about 15 minutes.
