Description

Marina Chiavari is a large marina composed by two main docks, equipped with piers and quays which can receive a great number of boats. In particular, the southern quay is reserved for transiting and fishing boats, while the left one, situated at the entrance dock and signaled by a red light, can receive tourist ferries.

The marina presents 9 piers, 2 piers and 459 berths in total: 118 can receive boats up to 6 m, 142 are reserved for boats up to m, 169 for boats up to 12 m, 26 for boats up to 18 m while 4 mooring places are reserved for boats up to 25 m. The transit dock, with 12 equipped berths, can receive 35 boats. On land, there are also 215 spaces for small boats or cars.

Near the Tower, situated in the western quay, there are the administrative offices, the mooring assistance centre and Navimeteo Observation Deck. Mooring assistance is guaranteed every day and at any time, while administrative offices are open from Monday to Saturday from 09:00 to 12:00 and from 15:00 to 17:30 and on Sunday from 10:00 to 12:00.

The structure offers toilets, showers, nurseries, Wi-Fi, 63 car parkings, companies specialized in boat maintenance and repairs and even a first-aid station and a baby clinic: the first if open from Monday to Saturday, from 10:00 to 12:00, while the second is open on Wednesdays from 15:00 to 17:00.

The marina also offers a helipad, which can be used in case of emergencies.

Safety inside the marina is guaranteed by a 24h/24 videosurveillance system and a night control service.

Eco-friendly since always, the port has recently be equipped with a separate waste collection centre for used oils, filters and batteries.

Bilge pump liquids, on the contrary, can be collected in a specific suction station.
