Description
Marina degli Aregai is located along the coast of Imperia province, in the municipality of Santo Stefano al Mare.
Opened in 1992, it's a modern and efficient marina enjoying an excellent position on the Riviera of Flowers. It's owned by Cozzi-Parodi Group, a complex of companies dealing with property sales, civil constructions and tourist resorts.
In addition to Marina degli Aregai, the group has built two other important marinas, San Lorenzo al Mare and Portosole, in Sanremo.
The marina is sheltered by a downdrift dock and a 800-metre-long updrift one. The marina consists of two wet docks, divided by a quay. The harbour can receive 980 boats, from 6 to 40 metres, simultaneously.
The port offers a full range of high quality services, such as mooring assistance, drinkable water and electricity on quay, surveillance, gas station, toilets, showers, weather forecast, a travelift with a range up to 100 tons, some garages for mechanical, electronic and sail repairs and a slipway. The whole area is well-sheltered from all winds, even if east winds can make navigation a little troubled.
Marina degli Aregai often hosts races, competions and events.
All this makes the marina not only an excellent reference point for all yachtsmen but also a popular tourist destination, equipped with many hotels, resorts, conference rooms, sport centres, 84 apartments and 22 suite rooms.
Moreover, the marina offers an interesting commercial gallery hosting a rich range of shops and restaurants.
Customers can finally enjoy a sailing school, a diving centre, a gym, a coffee bar and a pizzeria.
The tourist resort has a private equipped beach, surrounded by a huge garden. Customers can find showers, toilets, restrooms, a coffee bar, a dog area, sun beds and umbrellas and wheelchair entrances.
Located east of the citycentre of Santo Stefano al Mare, Marina degli Aregia enjoys a strategic position to sail the Ligurian coasts or reach Cote d'Azur or Corsica. The harbour is, in fact, just 20 miles far from Mentone, 80 miles from Campo Corso and 85 miles from Calvi. The airport of Genoa is about 110 km far, while that one of Nices is about 80 km far. Imperia is just 15 km far.
