Port Sainte Marie La Mer 

Port de Sainte Marie La Mer is located on the Gulf of Lion Coast, in Mediterranean France. It's part of the Eastern Pyrenees region, 1.0 miles distant from the harbour of Canet-en- Roussillon.

It hosts 473 mooring places for boats with a maximum length of 22 metres. Mooring is possible at fixed and floating piers. Draught varies from 2.50 m to 50 cm but the minimum draught is 1.50 m because this is the depth reached at the entrance of the area.

The entrance is signaled by some rows of yellow buoys.

The harbour and its services are available only for customers provided with specific badges.

The harbour is rather sheltered from winds but eastern winds can provoke a draught reduction.

The marina offers drinkable water, electricity, toilets, showers, clothes and crockery boxes.

In July and August, the Port Authority produces weather reports every day.

The harbour is under surveillance all the year; in summer, the service is from 12h00 to night, while in winter it works only at night.

The maintenance area hosts a closed and safe garaging zone which can host up to 150 boats, under surveillance and with water and electricity supply.

The customers can also enjoy a travelift with a maximum load of 15 tons.

Port de Sainte Marie La Mer is located in the municipality of Sainte Marie en Roussillon, not far from the city centre and some restaurants, camping sites, coffee bars and minimarkets.

The customers can enjoy sailing and boating courses, boat trips and water sports.

The marina is surrounded by some wonderful beaches, such as the white-sand plage des Epis de Sainte Marie, equipped with showers, toilets, parking areas and restaurants. The beach is under surveillance in high season.

Plage Centrale de Sainte Marie is a little north the coast and it is located just opposite the tourist office. White-sand and surrounded by a cycle path, it offers showers, toilets, gardens, a playground and two free parking areas.

Finally, Plage Nord de Sainte Marie is a large quiet white-sand beach, equipped with showers, toilets, parking and wheelchair entrance. In summer, the beach is under surveillance. A part of the beach is private and it offers the possibility to rent beach equipment.

Port de Sainte Marie La Mer is about 15 km far from Perpignan.
