Description
Marina Punta Faro is the largest marina of the Upper Adriatic with its 1200 berths for boats from 7 up to 35 m. It raises on the farthest edge of Lignano Sabbiadoro's territory, in the province of Udine, where the waters of the Lagoon of Marano meet those of the Adriatic Sea, in a wondeful play of colours. In the middle of the marina raises the Sporting Club, where the picturesque Roman colonnade frames some sports centres, tennis and football courts, a swimming pool, a coffee bar and the nice restaurant of the Sporting Club. The "heart" of the marina is Due Colonne Square with its restaurants,American bars, prestigious boat dealers and a well-equipped shipchandler's shop. Finally, a 20,000-square-metre area is reserved for a yard offering a large garaging area and technical assistance.
