Description

The works for the construction of the Marina di Orsera began in 1999 and ended in 2001. Equipped strictly in line with the most modern standards, according to the yachtsmen votes and the many positive feedbacks, the Orsera marina has been prized for several times "The best marina of the eastern Adriatic”. Located on the west coast of Istria, the marina rises within a natural harbor: this important feature favors the landing of boats in full and total respect for the wonderful surrounding nature.

 

The harbor is placed in a very convenient location: being extremely close to the city, it allows its guests to enjoy all the events, attractions and comforts of the city of Orsera, one of the most beautiful towns of Istria, located 3 km North of the Leme Canal.

At the beginning, it was a small ancient center, and then little by little, Orsera has over the years, turned into an increasingly popular tourist center, that attracts an ever-growing number of tourists and visitors. In front of the Orsera town, you can admire one of the most beautiful archipelagos of Istria, consisting of 18 uninhabited islands.

Open throughout the year according to h 8-15 hrs, the port has 220 moorings and can accommodate even large boats, up to a maximum of 50 mt in length. The water depth is 4 mt and the area where the fuel distributor is located, up to 14 mt  In addition to the 220 moorings at sea, there are 40 ground stations.

Moorings can enjoy a large number of services within the marina. The Wi-Fi connection is available throughout the property, including a bar, a great restaurant (where booking is highly recommended) and a charter agency. Customers can then take advantage of air-conditioned sanitary facilities with showers, a dressing rooms and a convenient car park.

The nautical articles shop inside the facility, as well as being well stocked, offers customers the opportunity to rent sports equipment or take advantage of diving services with technical assistance. There is also a laundry room and a small supermarket.

On the dock are offered and guaranteed:  electricity, drinking water and waste collection and near the moorings, there is a fuel distributor.

On needs yachtsmen can find maintenance technicians, and a maintenance workshop that also offers a crane with a maximum capacity of 30 tons. The safety of the boats is made possible by the reception equipped with an internal video surveillance system.

A natural harbor protection comes from the island of San Giorgio, on which rises the homonymous Romanesque church. Well protected from the winds thanks to the presence of San Giorgio island and quiet place even during the busy months despite the huge turnout, the marina of Orsera is the perfect place to moor your boat quietly or to sail and  discover the natural wonders of the Istrian coast.

The Marina is managed by the same owners who also run the dock of Fontana (Funtane), located a little further to north.
