Description

Marina Veruda port extends over the wide bay of Veruda, south of the city of Pula, in the region of Istria in Croatia. Surrounded by rich Mediterranean vegetation, still largely uncontaminated,

Veruda bay has always been a fishing port. By constructing this Marina, it has proven itself to be a place that can accommodate a sail tourism pleasure, in an increasingly demanding time.

The marina of Veruda extends for 1500 mt in front of a sea of intense color between emerald and cobalt blue. With a special attention to the protection of the marine environment, they have conquered for sixteen consecutive years, the prestigious Blue Flag (blue flag). Thanks to its position,  protected from the winds, the Veruda marina is open all year long, not only in summer.

The 18 piers equipped with electric power sockets (220 and 380 V) and with drinking water, can accommodate up to 630 boat berths for boats up to 40 meters (also mega yacht mooring is possible) and all docks are under video surveillance, to ensure security for ship-owners during their stay. Moreover, the marina Veruda can accommodate 250 dry boats and another 50 lodges on the new dry dock. Regarding the handling and infrastructure, the marina Veruda, is equipped with a crane for heavy vessels up to 10 tons, a new acquired crane for boats weighing up to 30 tons and finally a hydro caret.

Important note: To enter the bay, avoid the south entrance of the islet where the depth does not exceed two meters and use only the passage in front of the hotel, marked by red and green lights. It is advisable to contact the marine responsible for haulages or launching boats, announcing the desired date at least one week in advance.

Tourist info:

The town of Pula, near the Veruda marina, deserves a visit. Capable of satisfying tourists looking for landscape beauties, it will not disappoint even for the artistic proposal rich in history: the Arena, a symbol of the city and erected in the first century under the Emperor Vespasian, the Duomo, the Roman Theater and the Castle.

Transport information:

The immediate vicinity of Pula Airport (5 km), buses and trains link Pula with all Croatian cities. Being close to European cities, the marina is also ideal for a weekend visit throughout the year.
