Description
Commercial Port and Marina
Located inside the Gulf of Porto Vecchio, the marina is sheltered from the breakwater of Dispensario and Ficaja, on its eastern and northern side respectively.
Thanks to its strategic position, near the beaches of Santa Giulia Palombaggia, the harbour is the main touristi destination of the island. It is equipped with 400 mooring places, 150 of which are reserved for transiting boats.
The marina is also an ideal departure point for a cruise to Lavezzi Islands.
The marina also offers a 40-ton crane, assistance and reparazions for both small and medium-sized boats.
How to enter the gulf
Boats are recommended to follow these alignments:
- 274° between the light of Pozzoli, located north of the marina, and the buoy of Punta Benedetto.
- 255° until the green buoy
- Finally 254°
Bottoms vary from 2 up to 3.5 metres in the quay, 3.5 metres in the channel.
The maximum speed allowed is 5 knots in the channel, 3 knots inside the harbour.
