Description
A safe port in the Gulf of Policastro
Marina di Policastro is one among the numerous ports in Campania offering both a marina and a port for fishing boats.
While entering and going out of the structure, boats mustn't exceed the maximum 3-knot speed allowed.
Moreover, yachtsmen have to pay particular attention to the low muddy sea bottom.
The port Policastro is composed by
- three long docks (352m)
- an outer breakwater (230m)
- an inner 100-metre pennant which divides the basin into an inner part and an external one.
Yachtsmen can moor along the quay of the outer breakwater and at some areas run by a private cooperative.
The maximum length allowed for boats is 20 m.
