Puerto De La Estaca  

The small port of La Estaca is located in the north of El Hierro, near Valverde. Although it’s primarily a port dedicated to commercial shipping, ferries and merchant ships, it also has mooring of 250 metres and 120 berths, which are suitable for sport boats up to 30 metres and 6.5 metre drafts. Services include a mobile ramp, a 40-tonne 'travelift', crane and slipway.

The closest harbour to Valverde

For the convenience of its customers the harbour also provides users with drinking water and electricity. Valverde is just seven kilometres from the quayside, but the proximity of the neighbourhood of La Estaca provides sailors with the chance to stock up at the supermarket or in one of its cafés. La Estaca is the only port on the island where passenger ships berth, something to keep in mind when accessing the quay.
