Description
The Ribadero river, dividing Galicia and Asturias, is dominated by the port that gives it its name. This fishing and sports port is located in one of the most beautiful cities of the whole Mariña Lucense. Its buildings (Pazo de los Ibáñez - founders of Sargadelos-, House of the Moreno brothers, Monastery of Santa Clara, etc.) are unavoidable visits. In the surroundings we find beautiful sandy beaches, such as the Playa de las Catedrales, named after the capricious way in which the sea and the wind sculpted the stone, making some of its walls look like church arches.
