Description

Port Haliguen is located in the bay of Quiberon, in the south of Brittany. This small estuary has been home to ships since ancient times. They found the protection and water points needed for their supply. In 1840, the small port shelter, protected by a dry stone pier, became a beached port where they developed commercial and fishing activities. Around the old port, a large marina was built in 1968 and developed until 1975 to support the increase of pleasure. The original site has retained all its charm. Its emblematic lighthouse, built in 1856, and the guardian's house, which now houses art exhibitions, delight walkers.
