Description
The Gulf of Poetto is a marina situated east of the namesake town. Poetto is often considered to be a district rather than a real town and it raises in western Sardinia, between the popular beach and Molentargius seaworks. The beach of Poetto is one among the most beautiful and largest beaches in the province of Cagliari. Protected by a 300-metre outer dock and a shorter inner breakwater, the port consists of some floating jetties reserved for recreational boats. Poetto is a popular tourist destination, famous for its beaches and night life. From June to September, the village hosts many music events and festivals. The gulf is open 24 hours a day but yachtsmen are required to use caution and pay attention to low sea bottoms. The marina offers 350 berths, 35 of which are specifically reserved for transiting boats. The Gulf of Poetto is an excellent destination for anyone looking for tourist attractions and entertainment. A perfect mixture between sea and tourism in one of the most charming places of Sardinia. Golfo di Poetto
