Description
The anchorage of Santa Giulia is an anchorage east of the Corsican coast and a natural bay with a wonderful beach. Slightly hidden, it is located near Porto-Nuovo and it hosts a popular tourist village.
The gulf is undoubtless beautiful and its beach reflects the qualities of colours and seabottoms which make the northern Sardininan coats very popular and appreciated. However, the beach has partly lost its original wild beauty because of mass tourism and the consequent tourist structures.
In the anchorage, boats can use a system of well-signaled mooring buoys.
The are three anchorage categories, according to boats' size: from 14 to 20 metres, from 8 to 14 metres and boats under 8 metres. You only have to call VHF channel 09 to ask for assistance.
The anchorage of Santa Giulia has all the features of a good mooring place for sailing boats and all vessels which decide to visit the wonderful beahes of the bay.
