Description
Bay of Chiaia - Procida
The best anchorage in Procida Island, especially for those who want to spend a night here, is that of Chiaia, a large bay near the marina of Corricella: Procida is the smallest, the most natural and least chaotic among the Phlegrean islands, well-appreciatd for its natural beauty and numerous coves and bays.
The bay of Chiaia raises within a picturesque scenery thanks to the charming fishing village of Corricella, characterized by a plurality of small pastel houses. Here, the tourist can easily find many restaurants where to stop and taste very fresh fish dishes.
Well-sheltered from the winds of the 3rd and 4th quadrant, welcoming and with a crystal-blue sea, the Bay of Chiaia has a safe sea bottom composed by sand and poseidonia.
