Quando si tratta di caicchi, in fatto di qualità ed estetica, possiamo ben distinguere tra quelli costruiti a Bodrum e gli altri. Xanthos (di tipo “gulet”) è stata costruita nel 2001, secondo le regole della tradizione locale, in uno dei cantieri più rispettati di Bodrum. A differenza di barche charter (90% dei caicchi sul mercato sono destinati al charter), la nostra barca è stata conservata perfettamente. Tutti gli interventi di manutenzione sono stati effettuati da persone del mestiere. 1 grande cabina principale, 2 cabine per gli ospiti ed una cabina doppia per l’equipaggio (tutte con bagno all’interno). Il pozzetto coperto ed il salone sono in mogano. Tutti i metalli ed i paterazzi sono cromati. Motore Ford turbo da 135CV. Generatore Köhler da 8kW. Salpa ancora idraulico sostituito nel 2012. 150m di catena (galvanizzati l’estate scorsa) con ancora Ammiragliato. Serbatoio carburante da 1000 litri in acciaio inox. Serbatoi da 1550 litri per le acque bianche e da 1200 litri per le acque nere in fibra di vetro, sostituiti nel 2013. 6 pannelli solari da 125W ciascuno ed inverter da 1500W acquistati nel 2013. 7 batterie per un totale di 1300Ah. Schermo TV LCD. Ecoscandaglio. Grande frigorifero Samsung con congelatore (acquistato nel 2014). Lavastoviglie Siemens. Forno Arçelik (acquistato nel 2015). Prese da 220V AC nelle cabine. Avvolgitore e genoa sostituiti nel 2014. Caldaia per acqua calda.

When it comes to gulets, in term of quality and aesthetics, there are those built in Bodrum and then others. Xanthos was built in 2001, according to local tradition, in one of Bodrum’s most reputable boat yards. In contrast to charter boats (90% of gulets on the market are charter), our boat has been maintained perfectly. Everything has been serviced by professionals. 1 big master cabin, 2 double guest cabins and twin crew cabin (each with en suite heads). The enclosed cockpit, as well as the interior, are in mahogany wood. Stays and all metal parts are chromed. Ford 135 HP turbo engine. 8kW Köhler generator. Hydraulic anchor winch renewed in 2012. 150m chain (galvanised last summer) and Admiralty anchor. 1000 litre stainless steel fuel tank. 1550 litre clean water and 1200 litre black water tanks replaced with fiberglass ones in 2013. 6 x 125W solar panels and 1500W inverter purchased in 2013. 7 batteries for a total of 1300 Ah. LCD TV. Fish finder. Big Samsung refrigerator with freezer (purchased in 2014) Siemens dishwasher. Arçelik oven (purchased in 2015). 220VAC outlets in cabins. Furling system and genoa sail renewed in 2014. Hot water boiler.
