Ranieri International Shadow 30

Shadow 30 is a Mediterranean-styled slender pleasure craft suitable also for demanding cruises; it is provided with large outdoor spaces and a functional lower deck consisting of two double cabins completed with all on-board services and able to house four people. Its classic layout features a central walk-around console with wide spaces on the lower deck and a nearly full-beam dash-board provided with raised and easy-accessible passageways, a protective handrail and two further railings lengthened up to the windshield frame both sides.

The stern extremity houses the wide cockpit; its spaciousness allows the outboard engines easy overturning towards the partition provided with swimming platforms on both sides. One of these is supplied with a ladder and located before the cockpit entry. On starboard there is a large L-shaped sofa served by a pivotal legs table. A bridge house is located centrally and provided with a sink and a hob placed both on the top of it and protected by a fiberglass top, while the forward area houses a filled seatback apposite to the standing driving.   

The noteworthy teak planked flooring is standard. The console is large and provided with a comfortable and ergonomic pilot seat with well-positioned controls as well as a big and user-friendly steering gear. A windshield, consisting of a stainless steel frame with two lateral sectors extension, offers an efficient protection during navigation. On port side there is the lower deck door served by a further metacrylate sliding one. The very wide bow is suitable for a walk and can hold a double sofa in order to create a large sunbathing area. 

Despite its dimensions, the lower deck, accessible by two large steps, is functional and well-furnished. On port there is the galley provided with a sink, a fridge and a hob; the latter can be eventually made of glass ceramic and provided with a fitted microwaves oven. The toilette is opposite and provided with ceramic sink, shower and WC. The little room, accessible from the center, can house two people easily.

Both the bathroom and the galley are provided with two port-holes. The dinette is wide and supplied with well-refined U-shaped sofas. The shipyard personal tailoring uses well-refined materials. So, the whole boat is realized with maximum care and the furniture covering veneer stands out for horizontal veining refined woods.

The boat features an upper molding high gunwale which carries out both an aesthetic function and a strengthening one. The composite hull, designed by Pietro Ranieri, combines the classic forward lines, characterized by double stabilization skids and a rather advanced stempost, with a stern provided with an only skid series and a 21-degree deadrise by means of a step to equilibrate and facilitate the detachment liquid thread. The boat has been built by means of an accurate rolling mill system by using isophthalic resins reinforced by double-arrowed mats and filled by polyurethane; the reverse molded panel lies on the metal struts and frame-floors structure by pasting modular malleability prisms. The reverse molded panel is joined to the hull consisting in a resin-made box side and covered by an aluminum-and-rubber saddle tank. The toerail is fixed both to the astern railings and a double handrail; the latter is extended from the bow to the three quarters of the boat total length, opened on forward side and provided with a central step in order to facilitate the landing.
